The USWNT is headed to the semifinals of the 2023 Women's World Cup after a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Brazil on Monday night. Alex Morgan scored the game's lone goal on a free kick in the 31st minute, the 20th minute of her career.

The USWNT has largely controlled possession, holding the ball just under 65% of the game so far. They also have more shots (9) than Brazil (6).

The USWNT will face either Canada or Sweden in the semifinals on Thursday, September 21. The game will be televised on TNT, Universo, and Peacock at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The USWNT will play again on Sunday, July 28, at 3 p.m. ET. Whether or not Alex Morgan will be at the 2024 Paris Olympics is still unknown. However, one thing is for sure: this team has shown that they are a force to be reckoned with.

They came through in miserable conditions against eternal rival Canada. And tonight, they held their resolve against a cagey Brazil side. This USWNT team is on a mission, and they are not going to let anything stand in their way.
